Got my hands on the latest copy of Procycling (July issue) today. Amongst some of the cover stories such as the ‘exclusive’ interview with Lance Armstrong, there is a page on a new book about cycling entitled ‘Bad Blood: The Secret Life of The Tour De France.’ Written by former Procycling editor and long-serving Times correspondent, Jeremy Whittle, the book is supposed to be Jeremy’s journey from “unquestioning fan to Tour de France insider and confirmed sceptic.”

So I’ve gone online this evening and ordered myself a copy of the book, as well as a copy of ‘The Death of Marco Pantani: A Biography.’ I’m by no means a renowned critic of books but I hope both books arrive soon so that I can give you the low down on it and whether it really does tell of cycling’s ethical struggle. So stay tuned for more!
