Tomorrow John Lee Augustyn will become the second South African ever to take part in the Tour de France. He will be riding alongside fellow South Africa, Robert Hunter for Team Barloworld.

Let’s hope Augustyn, who turned pro in 2005, will be able to make it through the 20-day tour that includes 20 stages over 3653km, with an average of 180km to be covered daily.
