What a week this past one has been. If things weren’t so hectic at work (excuse, yes I know) I would definitely have made more time to watch the Paralympics Games. But the time I did have available, I made sure to catch as much of the sporting glory as what I could.

And what more can I say than ‘phenomenal!!’ The cyclists (track and road) and all the other athletes – just truly amazing. I don’t think there was a day of watching that I didn’t get a lump in my throat. No, not for feeling sorry for the guys and girls, but at the true guts and determination they showed in their pursuit for glory.

You cannot help but feel totally inspired by their actions.

Now I’ve trawled through the Beijing Paralympic Games website and have found that Great Britain hold hold the following medals after 19 of the 23 events:

Road

Men

3x Gold

2x Silver

Woman

2x Gold

Great Britain are tie 1st with Spain and USA

Track

Men

9x Gold

1x Silver

Woman
